1. New Zealand School of Modern Music

The NZ School of Modern Music offers singing lessons to children 6 years plus, of any singing ability, from first-timers to the Beyoncé’s of this world. Lessons are $21 for a 20-minute one-on-one lesson or $29 for a 30-minute lesson. Teachers are located throughout Auckland.
2. Auckland Performing Arts Academy

Does your child love ‘Lion King the Musical’? Well, Hakuna Matata (it means “no worries”) because APAA is designed specifically for children aged between 7 to 21 years, with a musical theatre focus. Located in Takapuna, this centre offers weekly training sessions in singing, dancing, and acting. These lessons build to a fully produced show at the end of every semester (half a year). Lessons are priced between $380 to $450 a semester.
Your little singer may even want to brave the busking world!
3. The Auckland Performing Arts Centre

The focus of TAPAC singing classes is to foster a love of singing in children aged 7 to 11, no matter what level of experience. TAPAC creates a healthy environment in which your child can participate in group singing, or even sing solo! Lessons are Monday 29th April to Monday 1st of July and are $200. TAPAC is located in Western Springs.
