The humble pea really packs a nutritional punch – in fact, one cup of peas will give you 98% of your recommended daily value for vitamin C! Peas are also a great source of vitamin A and vitamin K, as well as a good source of B vitamins and folate. They’re full of fibre, providing 2.5g per cup – 10% of your recommended daily intake – and also contain important minerals like magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, manganese, and iron.
