If your kids have joined the jumping obsession, then they’ll be wanting to try out all of Auckland’s bouncing options. Littlies will need toddler mornings (without the older children somersaulting all over the place), and bigger kids will be looking for serious bounce (for mastering kabooms), vertical walls, foam pits and basketball hoops. In terms of exercise options, this is the bomb!
Avondale, Mairangi Bay
Jump has exclusive times for pocket-sized jumpers so that they don’t get overwhelmed by the big kids jumping. You can sit back and relax or join in the fun. But if you want to really get into it, then you can join a Jump Fit Mums and Bubs class that allows you to have a workout while you keep an eye on your bub jumping nearby.
Flippin fun is home to over 40 trampolines for your jumping pleasure. Flippin Fun runs times for the littlies or if you have an older child that wants to try bouncing, then you can enrol them in a 5-week course designed to help improve their fundamental movement skills.
Manukau, Mt Wellington
GravityNZ has a load of trampolines to play on but they also have a ninja warrior course, tramp wall, foam pit and an area for the under-5s, perfect for kids of all ages. Not to mention the tailored sessions for more specific activities, such as Toddler Time for the littlies and Jump classes for kids who want to challenge themselves and take their jumping to the next level.
Bounce and Beyond
While not technically a trampoline park, Bounce and Beyond still involves bouncing, jumping and having fun. The indoor space is home to Auckland’s largest inflatable playground, perfect for the kiddies.
