Waterview Playground

Where: 1621 Great North Rd, Waterview, Auckland 1026

There are loads of things to keep the kids entertained at Waterview playground, including water play activities, slides, swings, climbing frames, sand and mini diggers. As well as a basketball court, skate park, and BMX track, there are picnic tables and shady gazebos to sit around for you mums and dads too.

 

Myers Park

A fun playground in the heart of Auckland City, Myers Park can provide a load of fun. There's a climbing frame, bird and sculptures to climb on as well as an awesome basket swing.

Rocket Park

Where: Mt Albert War Memorial Hall New North Rd, Mount Albert, Auckland 1025

The main attraction at this awesome playground is, you guessed it, the giant four-level rocket that kids can climb up. But there's not only a rocket, there's also a junior castle, climbing unit and swings to keep kids entertained.

 

Blockhouse Bay Playground

Where: Endeavour Street, Blockhouse Bay

Round up your aspiring pirates and head to Blockhouse Bay Playground where they can play out all their pirate dreams in a pirate themed playground right by the beach!

 

Cornwall Park

Where: Puriri Dr, Epsom (Once Tree Hill)

Cornwall Park is accessible for every child as they have a liberty swing for children in wheelchairs. The park also has a flying fox, roctopus swing, rope climbing structure and an amazing small train track with a push along train. This is one park that everyone should visit.

Western Park

Where: 7/5 Howe St, Freemans Bay

There are big slides, swings, trampolines, flying foxes and tree houses to play on at Western Park in Freemans Bay. One to check out if you haven't been before.

Roberta Reserve

Where: 20/22 Roberta Ave, Glendowie

Roberta Reserve in Glendowie is a newer park with a swing basket, swings, a fort and eagle's next. Great fun!

Western Springs Playground

Where: 859 Great North Rd, Western Springs, Auckland

There's ducks and swans to feed in Western Springs, but did you know there is also a playground? There's slides and swings to play on or take the bikes and scooters and head on an adventure around the park.

There's plenty of fun to be had at Coyle Park in Point Chev, there's a web like climbing structure, flying fox, little train and swings, and all of this right next to the beach!

Daldy Street Playground

Where: Daldy Street, Wynyard Quarter

Right in the heart of Auckland City, this futuristic-looking playground allows children of all ages to play comfortably in the busy urban space. Two large towers stand with slides and climbing equipment surrounding them, perfect for the children to play on after the family grabs a bite to eat at one of the local nearby cafes. Potters Park
