Located in New Lynn, Go Jos is a great little store full of carefully picked vintage, retro, and designer pieces. They have high-quality, statement clothing at affordable prices. New Lynn is a hub for vintage and op-shopping and it’s great if you want to dedicate a solid day to vintage shopping.

Now this is not really a store, but Karangahape Road (better known as K’ Road) is well known for its vintage shops. Vixen Vintage, Smoove, Paper Bag Princess and so many more are just a walk away from Queen Street, which also has several awesome shops.
Just off Queen Street in Auckland’s CBD, Recycle Boutique is all about conscious shopping and creating a more circular economy, and with some gorgeous vintage/designer pieces. They specialise in high quality, designer, contemporary and vintage pieces for everyone. There are ten stores nationwide, so be sure to have a look and see if there are any in your area!

Spacesuit on Cuba street specialises in alternative and retro clothing and accessories. They import retro and vintage from the US and Japan, and stock a wide range of 90s and early 2000s items. Hunters and Collectors on Cuba street may be one of New Zealand’s most well-known and loved vintage stores. They have been trading for over 30 years, and love anything rare and exotic. Allsorts Furniture Christchurch is a fabulous vintage furniture and homewares store on Ferry Road. Inside you will find a myriad of treasures, from tables and sideboards to vintage mirrors and knick-knacks. You can’t miss them – just look for the giant liquorice allsorts on the outside of the building!
Chaos Collections have been around for over 20 years now and have a variety of vintage and retro hardware and salvaged vintage architectural pieces, specialising in anything interesting or bizarre.
