The Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide For Teens

Ah, it’s the most wonderful time of the year again, which also means it’s time to shop for Christmas presents. Shopping for teenagers can be really hard, so we’ve taken some of the guesswork out of it for you and compiled a list of our favourite Christmas gift ideas for this year.

1. Create a self-care kit

It’s been a tough year, so why not build a bit of a self-care box for your teen with some face masks, bath soak, chocolate, maybe a manicure or pedicure voucher. For boys they still might like the chocolate, but add in some other snacks, maybe a video game and some fun socks. Just pop in anything that your teen absolutely loves and does to take care of themself.

2. Pyjamas, dressing gowns and lounge wear

Many of us have spent so much time in our PJs during Covid, we’ve become quite fond of them. Why not pop a new pair in their stocking. Peter Alexander have great options, or purchase an Oodie, a giant wearable blanket. You could also add in a weighted blanket, filled with loads of little glass balls, these blankets do wonders for encouraging good sleep. Cotton On have some great lounge wear picks for both girls and boys.

3. A book for the sports fan

For your rugby-mad teen, give them all the best tips of the trade and a book to read over the Summer holidays?! Pop Beaudy: Skills, Drills and the Path to the Top under the tree.

4. Headphones

New headphones are always a good idea, and they are a great gift to give because then you don’t have to listen to their music blasting in their room. We love these Beats headphones, or if you have a sporty teen these Bose Earbuds are fantastic.

5. Portable photo printer

One of these portable photo printers is a great gift for printing out photos of all the memories from this summer.

6. Hair Tools

For the hairdresser in your family, why not pick up a new hair tool. This adjustable waver is a great option for creating many different looks.

7. Underwear and socks

While arguably a really boring gift, these clothing staples are appreciated (even if they won’t admit it!). Jockey and Boody are always good options for everyday and for boys Calvin Klein’s are always a good idea. If you have teen girls maybe consider buying some period underwear as well, Modi Bodi have great ones for teenagers. When it comes to socks make sure you know who you are buying for, skaters like mid-shin, most teens like ankle.

8. Backpack

Set them up for the new year of school with a cool new backpack.

9. Razor

If your teen has just started shaving his facial hair, bypass the disposables and purchase him a nice grooming system.

10. Epilator

Let’s be honest all women hate shaving, it’s just such a hassle. An epilator is a great option for a longer lasting result, and the results can last for up to four weeks.

11. Fragrance

Christmas is the best time to purchase a new fragrance because there are so many beautiful gift sets on offer. For a young woman, this Marc Jacobs set and for your young man, this Dolce and Gabbana are both failsafe options. A solid aftershave is also great for boys particularly if they are travelling to festivals this summer.

This is the time, particularly if you have a teenage daughter or son when they begin to explore their bodies, and giving them a perfume might be the perfect gift to encourage them to love their bodies and themselves more.

12. Portable speaker

Every teen loves a portable speaker. This retro-looking one would make an awesome gift for any teen who loves their music, especially if they have Spotify. It would go well with a gift similar to this Spotify Glass Music Plaque, which you can personalise with their photos and their favorite playlist.

13. Nintendo switch

For the gaming-obsessed teen, a Nintendo switch lite is perfect for gaming on the go.

14. Cosmetic mirror

For the makeup-lover in your house, one of these Cosmetic Mirrors is the perfect gift.

15. Encourage those new hobbies

If your teen picked up a new hobby during lockdown, why not choose a gift that encourages that hobby. It might be baking accessories for the newly minted baker, good running shoes for the runner, or a kindle for the teen who couldn’t stop reading. Maybe some art supplies, these markers are awesome and this paint by numbers would also make a cool gift.

16. For the sustainable teen

If your teen has been on a sustainable journey why not add something sustainable to their stocking. A cool metal cup, a metal straw set or a tote bag for shopping trips are great picks.

17. Lego

If your teen loves building things or just loves Lego (who doesn’t) then why not add to their collection. There are some awesome sets including themed ones like this Star Wars one, this Harry Potter one or this London Sights.

18. Selfie ring light

If your teen loves Instagram or is a budding YouTuber, a ring light would make an amazing Chrissy present.

19. Fun games

Little games make great stocking stuffers. This 2000s music trivia could be a laugh or this Mind Card game might be lots of fun too.

20. Makeup and skincare gifts

Christmas makeup gift sets are a great gift for a makeup lover. We love this Lip Plump Ornament, or if they are more into skincare Mario Badescu minis offer a great way to try out a new brand, and for their Christmas mani/pedi this Essie set has a beautiful festive red nail polish perfect for the season.

21. Inflatable volleyball set

A pool party staple, this inflatable volleyball set will provide hours of pool fun.

22. hammock

This hammock is amazing and is perfect for a teenager’s bedroom or a new flat.

23. Fujifilm Instax camera

Update their Instax camera with this beaut one from Fujifilm. It comes in multiple colours but we love this on-trend terracotta shade.

24. Skateboard or scooter

A new skateboard or scooter might be the perfect gift to ensure that your teens step back from their gaming and get outside this summer.
