Create a "bunny ornament" for your Easter lunch table

eater bunny ornament

Easter is a time for family – and feasting! Nothing sets the tone better and makes the weekend’s main meal feel more like an occasion than an expertly dressed table. This Easter Bunny ornament project is easy to create and ideal for involving the kids too.

What you need

All you need to make these stylish ornaments is some scissors, a sewing needle, craft glue, felt sheets, raw wood beads and some jute twine.

Method

1. Line up the smaller bead on top of the larger one. Measure a length of twine 2.5 times the length of the stacked beads. Fold the twine in half. Holding the ends together, thread twine through both beads, leaving a loop at the top. Knot the ends at the base of the bottom bead.

2. Cut teardrop shapes out of the felt. Use a needle to carefully push the felt shapes into the hole in the top bead to make bunny ears, and secure with a dab of craft glue.
