Just because it’s a bit nippy outside, doesn’t mean your little water babies can’t splash about. Here’s a fab list of all the indoor pools in Christchurch for your family’s water fun cravings.

The Graham Condon complex
has an awesome toddler pool with sprinkler fountains to play under and pool floaties to relax on, so it will be non-stop fun in this pool. There is also a teaching pool and swimming lessons if your child needs a bit of extra confidence in the water, and a recreation lane pool.
Taiora QEII Recreation and Sport Centre
193 Travis Road, New Brighton, Christchurch
The Taiora QII Centre
has all the fittings when it comes to swimming, with the standard lap and learn to swim pools too. But then, there is a 130-metre-long hydroslide, a leisure pool which includes a lazy river, a splash deck with a water adventure playground, and a toddler pool. The whole family is bound to have tonnes of fun at this pool. Just remember, be water safe.

features a teaching pool, a sport pool and a recreation pool so it’s perfect for all types of swimmers. And for the young’uns there’s a toddler pool to keep them entertained.
75 Lyttelton Street, Somerfield, Christchurch
has everything you need for some water fun. A recreation pool, a teaching pool, and a leisure pool. There is also a wave pool (you’ll need to check when the wave pool is in operation though, it’s not on all the time), a lazy river and water fountains to play in. You may not be able to get the kids out the building if you bring them in here.
